What's the green box? It is one of Woodrow's static bat detectors. They record bat activity at sites for up to a week.

We were contracted by NPWS in 2011 and 2012 to undertake surveys for marsh fritillary larval webs across the west and north-west Ireland. In 2013 we were further contracted by NPWS in association with Allen and Mellon Environmental Ltd. to undertake another survey for this species.
