Over 50+people from across County Sligo attended the launch of the Sligo Communities & Biodiversity project - an action of The County Sligo Heritage Forum. The feedback from the workshops at the end of the evening means there will be lots of forthcoming actions for wildlife in the county! What an enthusiastic crowd!  Indeed 20 separate applications were received from Sligo communities for Woodrow ecologists to work with them to develop a Local Biodiversity Action Plan (LBAP). The six communities that we will work with are: Ballintogher; Carney; Dromore West; Drumcliffe/Rathcormac; Enniscrone and Strandhill.
