Unusual Ecology Spotted

A traffic jam caused by a flock of sheep or a herd of cattle can be a common occurrence in Ireland, especially for our ecologists and fieldworkers who work in the most rural parts of the country. However, a flock of peacocks roaming this narrow country lane is quite an unusual sight! This beautifully colourful bevy of peafowl was spotted by one of our ecologists on route to an upland site recently.
