Rosaleen Keehan is originally from Dromahair, Co. Leitrim, but has been living in Edinburgh, Scotland, since 2019. She joined Woodrow APEM Group as an Ecology Support and Data Officer in November 2024, but has worked in various roles with the company at both the Sligo and Edinburgh offices since 2017. During that time, she has helped with everything from data management and survey digitization to fieldwork support and general administration.
Rosaleen graduated with a degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Edinburgh in 2023 and completed an MLitt in Women, Writing, and Gender at the University of St Andrews in 2024. Within her academic studies, Rosaleen spent time exploring inter-disciplinary approaches to ecology and the natural world within literature. She is also passionate about environmental activism, such as environmental justice, conservation efforts and rewilding. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her dog, Vinegar Tom.
