A scientist by training, Sharon has highly developed interpersonal and facilitation skills with the ability to enthuse and engage communities and businesses in the process of appropriate change to better their environment in line with required legislation and best practice. For national charities and community groups, Sharon has formed long-term, strategic plans consulting with 100+ staff, the public and community groups. Her meticulous Project Management skills, hand-holding and listening, ensure projects get off the ground and targets are achieved within (often tight) budget. She is a ‘Green mentor’ for businesses and communities and Sharon is proud of her work as a National Adjudicator for TidyTowns – Europe’s longest running and biggest community programme - encouraging bottom-up environmental change. She has co-directed the company Woodrow which was shortlisted in 2016 as an Outstanding Small Business in Ireland by the Small Firms Association.
