We were approached to undertake a bird survey of c. 3 hectares of land at an existing sand and gravel complex.
Due to a proposed extension to the south, we were ask to undertake a bird survey of the area. This bird survey included an intensive walked transect of the area recording the distribution of singing or displaying birds and the possible presence of nesting birds (such as meadow pipits and sand martens).
