On advice from Leitrim County Council, Woodrow Sustainable Solustions Ltd. has been contracted to examine the potential impact of two river crossings within Lough Gill SAC and advide on appropriate action.
Lough Gill is a Special Area of Conservation which makes it necessary for appropriate actions in order to comply with the EU habitat Directive in carrying out the works.
The Natura Impact Statement included a Screening Assessment, the consideration of ‘in-combination’ impacts and a Appropriate Assessment for the proposal.
