Aaron Southgate

Aaron joined Woodrow in 2024 as a seasonal assistant ecologist to assist with botanical surveys during the field season. Skills gained while previously working in the horticultural industry have helped to transition into the Botany team at Woodrow.

He is currently a mature student studying for a BSc in Environmental Science and Ecology in ATU Sligo. Having previously completing a HND in Design and Digital Development in Edinburgh College.

Outside of work he has a huge interest in nature photography, surfing and gardening. Taking full advantage of Sligo in these pursuits.
