Down, he has been actively involved in breeding programs for endangered species in Latin America, wildlife rehabilitation efforts in Asia, and population studies in Africa.

Recently, Conleth managed a comprehensive biodiversity monitoring project in an indigenous territory located within the lowland rainforests of Costa Rica. His responsibilities included overseeing the monitoring of forest avifauna, raptor migration, wildcats, turtles, and herpetofauna.
